Executioner Bug Zapper is the smaller family member of our XXL Bug Zapper Insect Zapper. This Insect Zapping machine is the latest technology in Australia to combat the annoyance of insects whilst we enjoy our outdoor areas.
We have managed to reduce the wattage down from 30W to 18W which makes it cheaper to run than our previous model, however, the globe technology has a greater attraction rate. This Bug Zapper provides heavy-duty protection for large backyards. This Bug Zapper is for larger outdoor areas and will assist in reducing any flying insects such as Mozzies, midgies and moths.
The Executioner Bug Zapper includes an 18W UV lamp that is mounted within a stylish and robust weatherproof casing. We recommend placing the unit above 2 metres to gain optimum results. Ensure that the unit is placed away from other competing light sources or human activity. The vertical grids mean the dead bugs drop directly from the unit, minimising cleaning like other units on the market that use the older style horizontal grids.
Insects simply get electrocuted when they touch the inner protected high voltage grid (Industry-leading innovative high voltage grid for durable use to ensure increased killing rat). The insects then drop into a removable dry storage chamber. Great to add to the garden for extra nutrients.
The UV lamp has been designed to produce a peak light output at a wavelength of 365nm in the UV-A band. Mosquitoes and other light-attracted pests are naturally attracted to this wavelength. Attracted pests include mosquitoes, moths & midges – pests that are most active from dusk till dawn.

You could use the Executioner Bug Zapper - Midsize indoors, but be mindful not to place it near competing light sources to make the unit's UV light more attractive to flying insects.

If there are dead insects stuck to the electric grid of the Executioner Bug Zapper - Midsize, this could cause the charge buidling up in the unit to be dispersed against the insect that's stuck, so cleaning any debris off the grid is important. To do so, first turn off the machine and then using a rubber or resin handle screwdriver, make contact with the electric grid to disperse any charge left over in the unit. Once that's done, using a small brush, clean off any insects that are stuck to the grid, and then switch it back on as needed.

The difference between the Executioner Bug Zapper - Midsize and it's other models will be the size of the machine. The coverage area for units like this one will usually be dependent on the brightness of the light. The larger traps will have a larger electric zapping grid as well.

Not good for moths despite the description saying otherwise. The spacings in the cover too small to allow moths through which is what we were targeting. Great for small bugs & insects though

Service, delivery and quality of the product all good. However, I bought this as a FLY zapper, it nails moths, frys mozzies But the only flys its killed are the ones that died laughing at it. You need to make it crystal clear that it does not work that well, (and thats being kind) for flys. If your bug is a mozzie or moth your’e cheering.
