What is Pyrethrins?
Pyrethrins are derived from chrysanthemum daisies which are highly toxic to pests. Since they are directly extracted from the plant it makes them non-toxic to humans. Pyrethrins are biodegradable and break down very quickly.
What is Piperonyl Butoxide?
Piperonyl Butoxide is an organic compound and a synergist used to enhance the killing power of active ingredients. It also helps reduce the amount of the main active ingredient used.
How long does it take to work?
Within 30 minutes you will see a significant improvement in the elimination of Flies, Mosquitoes and most common household insects. After a few days, you will also notice a substantial decrease in Cockroach activity.

The lifespan of your refills will depend on the frequency and settings used.

Yes, you could use our Ultra Summer Survival Pack for this purpose. The pack contains our Ultra spray, which is a pyrethrin based spray which has been registered with the APVMA to control flies, ants, mosquitoes, cockroaches, fleas and more.

Using a Pyrethrin spray in direct contact with Geckos could cause some adverse effects. If they consume insects quickly after they have succumbed to the pyrethrin spray, it could cause them some distress.
To minimize this, I would only really use this indoors, rather than outdoors, to reduce the chance of contact with insects that have been hit by the Pyrethrin spray, or direct contact onto their skin.

You can use our Ultra Summer Survival Pack for this purpose, as the Ultra can uses a natural pyrethrin as it's main active ingredient. Always be sure like any pesticide treatment to make sure your harvest is washed before sent for consumption. Depending on the external environmental factors as well, keep a close eye on your crops when introducing a new element to their growing environment.

I am very pleased with my Pestrol purchases. We have one inside and one outside. I have had them for a month and the cans are still half full.
I can’t believe how good this product is. I used to buy the ones from the supermarket. The canisters would last a few months, if lucky, and the can, if the nozzle wasnt broken, only last 3 or 4 weeks. It is a false sense of economy buying cheap rubbish. I will continue to purchase refills from Pestrol, as the quality is there, and it works!
This product is the answer to anyone’s issues with flies, mosquitos and creepy crawlies. I can’t stop buying! Excellent product.
We have these inside and outside and very few flies or cockies are ever seen. Highly recommend.
Generally work well. It would be better if the interval between sprays could be longer. Currently max 2 mins between sprays, in my use case needs to be every 10 mins. All units deplete refills quite quickly, one of them (that must be faulty) has chewed through a set of batteries and two cans of spray in a month.
