Grow gorgeous deep purple flowers with the DT Brown Lobelia Crystal Palace Seeds. These pretty flowers work well as edging plants in your garden, pots, tubs or baskets. Liking the sun, they bloom in the same year (spring and summer) if planted between Autumn and early Winter. Need to be sown in pots, thinned out once seedlings have emerged hardened off at the end of October.

How to grow

Sow the seeds thinly in trays or pots of seed compost. Press the small seeds into the surface. Keep them moist and warm, 15-20C. Germination will take 7-14 days. Thin out the seedlings when they have developed 2-4 leaves, spacing them an inch apart. Harden off and plant out at the end of October, spacing them 4-6in apart.
