Yates Hydrangea Pinking Liquid Lime & Dolomite 500ml

The Yates Hydrangea Pinking Liquid Lime & Dolomite 500ml works well to improve the colour of your pink Hydrangeas. Easy to use with a watering can, this solution is an effective blend of top quality ingredients that works with the pH of the soil by increasing its pH to colour hydrangea flowers. It helps add nutrition to the soil and change the colour of purple and blue flowers. Enriched with Magnesium, this product will help the appearance of foliage as well.

Consists of:

• Calcium (Ca) as calcium carbonate 41.5% w/v
• Magnesium (Mg) as magnesium carbonate 6% w/v

How to use:

• Rate – Mix 25ml to 5L water, ensure all the measured liquid is washed into the final mix.
• Frequency – Every 3-4 weeks.
• Timing – Apply any time of the year or after winter pruning to adjust and maintain flower colour.
• Area – 5L/5m2: apply to moist soil around plant.
• For best results, check the soil pH before and during treatment: (at least every 3 months) the optimum soil pH to ensure pink flowers is 7.5 – 8.5.  Do not raise soil pH above this range as it could lead to plant damage.  It is best to apply many smaller treatments rather than a single large treatment.  To raise the pH of highly acidic soil will require a large number of repeat applications.
• Store this product in a cool and dry place away from the reach of pets and children.
• NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE, OR IN ANY MANNER, CONTRARY TO THIS LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED

Note:

DO NOT apply to foliage.  If contact occurs, rinse off immediately with water.  Always apply to moist soil.  Do not apply when maximum temperature is expected to reach above 30C or if the plant is suffering moisture stress.  Best applied during early morning or late afternoon.
