How to grow
Sow the seeds between early spring and summer or all year round in tropical and sub-tropical temperatures. Staking is important for this variety. Sow the seeds 5mm deep into the soil, firm them down gently and keep them moist. Seedlings appear within 10-14 days. Transfer them to their final position when the plant is sturdy enough, spacing plants 50cm apart. Pinch out the shoots from the side and fertilise them regularly once the first trusses are set. Harvest them within 14-16 weeks.
