      Hey Dave,
      No, the 3-Way Water Diverter 100mm should not be used in a flooded rainwater system. It's not designed to be in the charged section of a swystem. It's specifically designed for non-pressurised rainwater, stormwater, and greywater applications. It must be used only in the 'dry' areas of rainwater systems.

      Do you have a rainwater diverter to fit 70mm plastic down pipe? Thanks Tom Tom Grant asked on 26 December 2023

      Hey Tom,
      Unfortunately it doesn't look like we stock something suitable for 70mm pipes. The 3- Way Water Diverter has three sizes which are 50mm, 90mm, and 100mm. Most of the other diverters in our range currently fit 90mm or 100mm.

      I’m also looking for a diverter to fit into an existing 70mm drain pipe - I can’t reduce to 50mm, obviously, and I really don’t want to have to increase the pipe size from the diverter up to 90mm or 100mm!

      Can you turn off the flow? Ie is it a three way or two way tap? For example I want to trap water in the gutter during fire, collect water to the tank during rain and flush water into the garden during gutter cleaning. Gary asked on 14 November 2023

      Hey Gary,
      The 3- Way Water Diverter is designed to swtich the direction of flow through your pipes. This is done by rotating the flow control handle. The "X" on the handle indicates the sealed pipe. Importantly, the handle can only be rotated 90 degrees between two pipes and the "X" should never point up. As such, it may be necessary to adjust the handle orientation to suit your installation. To adjust the flow control handle orientation, unscrew the front locking ring and pull the handle fully out of the unit. Reinsert the handle so it's oriented to suit your installation and will fully close one pipe direction.
