Envirosafe Regular Fly Trap
Envirosafe Regular Fly Trap is one of Australia’s top-selling Outdoor Fly Trap finally available through Pestrol
After years in the game and significant research to ensure that the Envirosafe Fly trap delivers the most cost-effective and ease of use for catching annoying flies.
1 x Trap comes with 1 x Single Fly Attractant / Refill
This fly-trapping device is the benchmark for all Australians looking at controlling fly populations at their place.
The Envirosafe Fly Killer is the safest flycatcher because of its natural food-grade attractant. Making this the pesticide-free fly trap of choice. This also ensures that the trap will attract all varieties of flies and once they are inside the trap, they cannot get out.
Our fly killer works best when it is placed within 50cm of the ground. Flies like the heat and not a lot of wind, so a protected place in the sun is perfect. The flycatcher begins to give off an odour once it accumulates many flies, this also assists in attracting more flies to the fly-catching device.
If you require a larger fly trap look at our Jumbo Fly Catcher or simply require some replacement fly lures we have it all.
Our number one product for the automatic control of flies is our Pestrol Ultra units. These fly control products send out a fine mist of pyrethrum-based active ingredients that will repel flies internally and externally at your home.
Interesting facts about Australian Flies
- A fly can taste food through their feet.
- They can walk upside down.
- They go to the toilet very often due to the fly having a very liquid diet.
- We all know flies carry disease, so it would be no surprise they love laying their eggs on faces, and decaying fruit and vegetables. (This ensures the larvae (maggots) have food to eat when they hatch)
- The Fly life cycle is approximately 50 days; however, within that time, they can lay up to 500 eggs.
I have been experimenting with home made fly traps for a while now. Some of them worked and some didn’t. I thought I would give this product a try given the reviews I’d read online. Let me just say, it’s as if these guys found a secret formula for what attracts flies and made it readily available to the public. It’s truly mind blowing. I set this trap outside only 3 days ago and it’s been an absolute frenzy out there. I’m most likely going to need to change it before the recommended 3 weeks due to it becoming too full. I can’t thank you guys enough. It’s a fantastic product and I highly recommend it for those with pesky flies ruining their outdoor BBQ’s!
Better than expected
Just what i wanted
Awesome product. So effective
Easy Peasy
Haven’t yet satisfied myself that this was worth the price paid…but its early days yet….its been cooler and flies haven’t been around much to test if it works well. Have only caught one fly in it so far. I remain neutral at this stage.
I bought this for indoor use, but the instructions do say it is intended for outdoor use? I found it moderately effective, surely didn’t attract them all, but perhaps better than nothing?
Also, it needs to be placed in a relatively high place (not in a corner on the floor), and so you may well have the unpleasant sight of a container of bright green fluid with dead flied floating in it. Disposal after a few weeks of use is also a bit tricky, I think the recommendation in the pamphlet was to bury in a hole. I live in an urban setting and have no earth under which to bury it?
I wish I could upload a photo of the fly trap after a week of use.. completely full of flies I couldn’t see any water left in the container! I will be buying another two for my back yard! Very happy will recommend to anyone that’s got flies due to pets in the yard!
Very good I think I have attracted all the flies in the neighbourhood.
It works great. No horrible spray.
