Prickly Pete Possum deterrent arrived quickly. They were larger than I imagined but were great for my job. They haven't been tested for their ability to deter possums yet as my new climbing rose on my veranda is just starting to grow but I bought them in advance of a possible possum problem, and I think they would work well. They would definitely deter a possum from jumping onto the veranda from the garage roof or from a tree because they would land on the spikes. I put them along the handrail and under the base of the veranda rails upside down and was pleased to find that they attached really well using zip ties in both places. I didn't need glue, it wasn't messy, the spikes were nicely placed for zip ties, they were strongly attached and were not very obvious as they are clear. I recommend them and think they would work well.

Bird spikes are light weight and base is easy to bed if fitting to a square or circle object. I used metal cable ties to fix to an aerial incase I need to remove in the future.

A good quality product at a reasonable price.
