Yates Zero Weeding Brush

The Yates Zero Weeding Brush is a handy herbicide dabber that makes killing weeds and grasses quick and easy. Perfect for use in rockeries, garden beds, paths, driveways, along fencelines, and lawn edges, this tool helps you target weeds precisely without wasting herbicide. Its smart brush design prevents leaks and lets you spot treat weeds with minimal bending, saving your back and time.

Key Features

  • Herbicide Dabber: Applies glyphosate solution directly to weeds for effective spot treatment.

  • Leak-Preventing Valve: This herbicide dabber is epecially designed brush valve stops leaks and controls liquid flow.

  • Easy to Use: Brush mechanism allows simple dabbing and brushing over weeds without covering all foliage.

  • Safe for Surrounding Plants: Deactivates immediately on contact with soil, affecting only treated weeds.

  • Versatile: Ideal for rockeries, garden beds, paths, driveways, fencelines, and lawn edges.

How to Use

  1. Mix Zero Weedspray Concentrate with water as directed on the label for the weeds you want to control.

  2. For general weeding, mix 8-10 mL of concentrate with 1 litre of water. Stir well.

  3. Unscrew the brush (including the cap) and pour the mixture into the empty tube (holds 350 mL).

  4. Replace this herbicide dabber and tighten firmly.

  5. Remove the cap to expose the brush tip.

  6. Touch the brush tip to the weed and apply gentle pressure to open the valve and wet the brush.

  7. Use a dabbing and brushing motion to apply herbicide to the weed leaves. You don’t need to cover every leaf.

  8. If you accidentally touch desirable plants, wash them off immediately.

  9. After use, rinse the brush under running water, replace the safety cap tightly, and store out of reach of children and sunlight.

  10. Do not disturb treated weeds for 2 weeks. Visible symptoms appear within 7-10 days.

Ingredients

The active ingredient of Yates Zero Weeding Brush is:

  • 100 g/L Glyphosate as isopropylamine salt (soluble concentrate)

Active Ingredient 100 g/L Glyphosate (isopropylamine salt)
Application Method Brush and dab spot treatment
Size One size only

Precaution

  • Do not apply if rain is expected within 6 hours.
  • Best results are achieved when weeds are actively growing.
  • Remove the cap to expose the brush.
  • Ensure the brush is still firmly attached to the cylinder.
  • Touch the brush tip on the ground and apply gentle pressure to open the valve and wet the brush.
  • Proceed with a ‘brush’ and ‘dabbing’ action, applying several brush strokes across the leaves of each weed. It is not necessary to cover all the foliage of each weed. The ‘dabbing’ action lets air in through the brush valve, letting more liquid flow onto the brush.
  • If the foliage of wanted plants is accidentally contacted, wash off immediately.
  • When you have finished treating weeds, rinse the brush under the tap.
  • Screw on the safety cap tightly.
  • Hang the Yates Zero Weeding Brush out of reach of children and out of sunlight.
  • Do not disturb treated weeds for 2 weeks (visible symptoms will appear in 7-10 days).

Effortlessly remove weeds with the Yates Zero Weeding Brush – a handy tool that pulls out unwanted plants without digging or chemicals.
