    Ultrasonic Pest Repeller - Portable - Battery Operated

    Our Portable, Battery Operated Ultrasonic Pest Repeller will repel unwanted rats, mice and even help control cockroaches in difficult-to-reach areas where you may not have access to electricity. Sufficient intensity and duration of the ultrasonic sound wave can attack the auditory and nervous systems of most common rodents. They will attempt to avoid the area and give up staying at your place. It’s important to note that there are limitations with ultrasonic waves, ie they can’t penetrate through obstacles or more around corners.     How to Use

    1. Remove the bottom case by twisting it counterclockwise.
    2. Install a 9V alkaline battery (not supplied) by connecting it to the snap connector.
    3. Replace the bottom case by twisting it clockwise until locked.
    4. Place the device in an area where you suspect rodent activity or in high-traffic zones for pests.
    5. Ensure the unit is positioned at least 30 cm (12 inches) off the ground for optimal ultrasonic wave dispersion.
    6. The device will begin operating immediately once the battery is installed.
    7. A light indicator will flash every 4 seconds to show the unit is working properly.
    8. Leave the device in place continuously for best results.
    9. Monitor its effectiveness over time. It may take 1-2 weeks to notice significant results.
    10. Replace the battery when the indicator light stops blinking, which is typically after about six months of use

    The Ultrasonic Pest Repeller - Portable - Battery Operated is primarily designed for Rodents, so the ultrasonic should be outside of most cats & dogs hearing range. That being said, as there are so many different breeds around, each with their own level of hearing, there could be a small chance that your pets might pick up on the noise. Whenever using anything ultrasonic in nature, it's always best to monitor your pets behaviour after installing the device, and if you notice and drastic changes, stop the device.     In the discussions on using in a vehicle, why do the replies include 'ensure you remove before driving the vehicle', why not just leave it on? I am looking to use a deterent device inside the engine bay to prevent rats building a nest on the heads and eating the injector wires. The hardwired one is not waterproof and can't go in the engine bay, so thought to add a battery one like this in the engine bay and just leave the thing on, set and forget (except changing the battery every so often).     We suggest removing the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller - Portable from the engine bay before driving as it has a small screw hook for horizontal mounting it wouldn't be the most secure in an engine bay while the car is moving. The shell is made from plastic and might not withstand the heat from an active engine, which could damage the unit.

      It actually works! I live near water and have neighbours that are not ensuring there is no food available for rodents. But so long as they are not near my home I am happy. Have no evidence of activity and not seen them either. I just cant watch a furry animal take 8 hours to die after being bated and having bates around my dog or other good critters in my garden. Wish I got it sooner.

      I installed my unit about two weeks ago and it seems like the product works as described.
      I have an awesome cat who loved bringing me its prize mouse on the occasional hunt. I guess she now needs a new hobby!

      My main problem was with a possum that would enter my ceiling and absolutely run a riot.

      The pestrol seem to have actually scared it away.. I haven’t heard it since I installed the unit… Pestrol is a good investment.. finally a company that doesn’t pull your chain with misleading promises.

      I noticed the build quality of the unit and it made me optimistic immediately. You can tell its not just cheap junk.

      I received this item as a bonus when I purchased other items. I had noticed rats were leaving their droppings in the corners of my alfresco so I decided to try the pest repeller by placing it in one corner. Two weeks later and there is no evidence of rats and although it is not meant to scare the birds away, the added bonus has been that they no longer use the room as their home.

      DO ULTRASONIC PEST REPELLER REALLY WORK? ON THE WEB THE ANSWER IS NO HOW DO WE KNOW HOW TRUE IT IS, WITH OUT A DOUBT YOU CARRY OUT TESTS. WHY ISN’T THERE VIDEO FOOTAGE OF THESE TESTS INSTEAD OF VERBAL COMMENTS HOW WELL DOES IT REALLY WORK.
