Mosquito Traps
Worked a treat, caught the culprit on the first night. Easy to set up and easy to store when not in use.

Worked like a charm. Simple, effective, solid. Caught 2 rats (some kind of native rate) in the first 2 hours… then 1 per day for the next couple of days. Rats captured, unharmed. Happy customer.

This took a while for us to get it right, but once we put in the right bait (old bits of fat from steak that had been dried out a bit or old tough bacon) that the rats had to work on a bit, we had great success. It is really effective and not too big (though check the dimensions).
I installed a motion detection mini camera to monitor the trap. The rodent twice escaped. They put there front feet firmly planted on the cage floor at the door and use their head to push open the door. It needs like a locking mechanism to stop this.
Rat trap is catching rats regularly.
Better quality product, and far cheaper, than what’s available at the local hardware store. Plus it actually works!
