    How to Use

    1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or wax. For metal, degrease before application.

    2. Cut the nozzle at an angle just wider than the joint or bead size. Insert a backing rod if required for deep joints.

    3. Apply Selleys 635 Multipurpose Elastic Sealant Clear 290ml with a caulking gun, keeping the nozzle close to the surface for good contact.

    4. Smooth the sealant with a round spatula within 10 minutes of application.

    5. Remove uncured sealant with mineral turps. The sealant will skin in about 20 minutes and reach full strength over several days.

    6. Once cured, the sealant can be painted with water-based paints (light sanding may be needed before painting).
