    The maximum power consumption of the Pestrol 360 Rodent Repeller is less than 1.3 watts. It can work continuously. The adapter and the main body may be slightly warm as with any electronic, but not hot.

    How high should I place it in a roof cavity? The central air con unit occupies the centre of the cavity but it slightly higher then the rest Alessio asked on 4 March 2025

    For optimal performance of the Pestrol 360 Rodent Repeller, we recommend placing it at a height that ensures it is centrally located within the roof cavity. Since the central air conditioning unit is slightly higher, you can place the repeller slightly below or to the side of the unit, ensuring that it is not obstructed by any other equipment or structures. Ideally, the repeller should be placed at least 2 to 3 meters off the ground to maximize coverage and avoid interference with other appliances or objects.

    Can I place it halfway from the top of the air con to the top of the ceiling if that's the case let's say on a beam ? Or hanging from the top?

    While it is possible to place the Pestrol 360 Rodent Repeller halfway between the air conditioner and the top of the ceiling, we do not recommend hanging the unit from the top. As it is an electrical product, there could be undue pressure on the power cord, which may affect the unit’s safety and performance. Instead, it is best to place the unit securely on a flat surface, such as a beam or shelf, ensuring the power cord is not under strain. For optimal effectiveness, ensure the unit is placed in a location with clear exposure to the space you wish to protect.

    Yes, Guinnea Pigs will be effected by the ultrasonic noise from the Pestrol 360 Rodent Repeller and could cause them some distress, but no harm. The 360 is not suitable for use outdoors.

    The Pestrol 360 Rodent Repellers noise can be heard from quite a distance by animals with sensitive hearing

    Sweep frequency ultrasonic: 315~700sqm;
    Fixed frequency ultrasonic: 1250sqm.

    This is a unit to be used indoors in places like ceiling cavities, or in garages, it's not a product that should be used outdoors.

    If you're looking to place this inside the house, but are concerned about chickens in the yard, in that instance it would be fine, as the walls of the home will block most of that sound from travelling outwards to the coop.

      We live on acreage, so the droppings around the place can be anything from rats, mice, bandicoots and. We think the 360 Rodent Repeller is working as some of the different droppings have disappeared.

      So far so good – from evidence of rodent activity in the kitchen area every morning….chew marks in tomatoes and all the veg type things kept in bowls on the bench to zilch!!! Yaaaay!!! So much better than putting out dangerous baits that the dog could (and did) eat!!! (just as well I saw it or she would have had a horrendous end to her life!!!) Highly recommend – especially to keep away the rodents and ensure our fur babies are safe 🙂
