Executioner Bug Zapper – XXL is the big bertha, the largest outdoor Bug Zapper for Australian conditions. This Insect Zapping machine is the latest technology in Australia to combat the annoyance of insects whilst we try to enjoy our outdoor areas.
We have managed to reduce the wattage from 50W to 36W which makes it cheaper to run than our previous model, however, the globe technology has a greater attraction rate. This Bug Zapper provides heavy-duty protection for large backyards. This Bug Zapper is for larger outdoor areas and will assist in reducing any flying insects such as Mozzies, midgies and moths.
The Executioner Bug Zapper includes a 36W UV lamp that is mounted within a stylish and robust weatherproof casing. Like the other smaller insect zappers we sell, we recommend placing the unit above 2 meters to gain optimum results. Ensure that the unit is placed away from other competing light sources or human activity. The vertical grids mean the dead bugs drop directly from the unit, minimizing cleaning like other units on the market that use the older style horizontal grids.
Insects simply get electrocuted when they touch the inner protected high voltage grid. The insects then drop into a removable dry storage chamber. Great to add to the garden for extra nutrients.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that standard UV bug zappers may not be the most effective solution for flying ants, as they are generally lured by scents and pheromones rather than light. Therefore, while the zapper can kill some flying ants that come into contact with it, it may not be the best method for specifically targeting them.

No, the Executioner Bug Zapper - XXL won't be effective for bees. This unit uses a light in order to draw in insects, and is most effective at night when it's dark. During the day, when bees are active, the light will not be as alluring as it has to compete with the natural light from the sun.
Bees are an important part of our world, at Pestrol we recommend trying to find a beekeeper local to your area to relocate the hive if it is on your property.
Great answer from Pestrol : we need bees, No Bees : no food.
Some don't realise that we need some flies, mozzies, midges etc as they too fertilise plants AND are part of a long food chain.
And we do use a pestrol mozzie catcher and a few are still left to do their job.
If back yard spiders were not killed, these too would catch moth, mozzies etc.

Going for over a month on the original globe. So it’s already better than the junk you buy at a hardware store starting with a b, and ending with an unnings
quite the beast, on a heavy night it is zapping constantly and i’m loving it
Very disappointed. Certainly doesn’t do a good job where there is plenty of insects. Disappointed. It attracts them fantatsic however that’s not what I got it for.
Is this waterproof? Can I leave it outside?
