It would be a bit tricky to answer this question on the Anti Cat Mat as there's a lot of variables when it comes to roof material to advise a suitable solution for attaching the mat to a roof. The Anti Cat Mat is designed primarily for lower to the ground in garden beds, so I'm also not too sure how it would hold up to the high temperatures that can come from a roof.

The Anti Cat Mat has blunted spikes, it won't cause any lasting damage to the cat, it will just create some discomfort to try and deter the cat from walking over it.

Works really great, a great deterent for my cats climbing trees, jumpting on fence. Service was good, the products arrived quickly…But my only commenct it is short so you have to buy quite a few to cover the area you want.

I actually used this to lay on the ground to prevent my dog from digging in a patch of dirt, as I am trying to get that patch to grow grass again. Went down after a couple of weeks, and small sections from the edges have broken off. It is not particularly strong.
Good solution for preventing cats going in specific areas. Seems to work so far.
