      No, Surefire DICAMBA M Selective Herbicide is not recommended for Queensland Blue Couch. The product page says it is suitable for couch and kikuyu, but Queensland Blue Couch is a more sensitive turf type, and this herbicide is best avoided unless the product label specifically lists it as safe.

      How effective is this (or is this the right product to use) for killing off marshmallow weed in Victoria (does not seem to be listed in the product sheet). All big plants have been removed including the tap-root, however small seedlings remain. Richard asked on 17 May 2026

      Yes. Surefire Dicamba M will control kidney weed (Dichondra) because it is a systemic broadleaf selective herbicide. It contains dicamba and MCPA, which mimic plant growth hormones (auxins), are absorbed through the leaves and roots, then move through the plant causing distorted growth, leaf curl, yellowing and eventual death of the weed while leaving suitable lawn grasses unharmed.
