Selleys Liquid Nails Direct Stick 700g Sausage is a moisture-curing, polyurethane-based timber flooring adhesive. It is ideal for multi-level dwellings, helping to reduce impact noise transmission through timber overlay flooring. Perfect for bonding timber overlay, parquet, and composite flooring, as well as timber, MDF, particle board, and concrete.

How to Use

The following should only be used as a guide and the installer should apply all Australian Standards, BCA/NZBC requirements, and best practices when installing a timber floor with Liquid Nails Direct Stick.

  1. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or contaminants.

  2. Cut the tip of the Selleys Liquid Nails Direct Stick – 700g Sausage and load into a sausage gun.

  3. Apply adhesive in beads or with a notched trowel, following the flooring manufacturer’s recommendations.

  4. Lay flooring into the adhesive within the open time and press firmly to ensure full contact.

  5. Allow the adhesive to cure; sanding can usually begin the next day.

  6. Clean tools and excess adhesive immediately with a suitable solvent before curing.
