These spikes are made of high-grade material and will not rust. They also come with UV protection, so they’ll withstand the elements! We have issues with kids climbing over our pool fence to gain access to the pool. Are these suitable to stop this from happening Peter Thomson asked on 16 February 2025

Hey Peter,
The Pestrol Prickly Devil Spikes are designed to deter animals, but it would cause some discomfort to humans as well. The spikes are blunted so it wouldn't cause any permanent damage, but I would use these spikes for this purpose at your own risk.

Hi - Can you please confirm correct dimensions. The heading states 4 metres long. however scrolling down, dimensions read Length: 40 cm. /. Width: 4.2 cm. /Height: 3.6 cm. (nb: despite the length at odds, the width and height tiny ... is that correct?). Then when you click on additional information, dimensions are listed as 15 × 5 × 42 cm Can you please fix this to display actual and correct dimensions when measuring against the actual product. as we are interested in purchasing. The Pestrol Prickly Devil Spikes 4m come in a pack of 10 pieces. Each piece is 40cm long, with 10 adding up to 4m in length.

The dimensions listed in the web description are for 1 piece of the 10 pack (40cm x 4.2cm x 3.6cm)

The dimensions under Additional Information is the size of the retail box that the 10 pieces come in (15cm x 5xm 42cm).

Hi there, I was wondering what’s the best way to attach this to a fence? Are we able to use screws? I saw a review saying they couldn’t drill screws from the top. Alexia Eliopoulos asked on 2 October 2024

Hey Alexia,
The Pestrol Prickly Devil Spikes do have holes included in the strips of spikes to allow them to be screwed in. If screws aren't an option a clear silicone based adhesive can be used to attach them to a fence.

    Love it! Only gripe, no space to drill screws in from top. Due to our thin gate profile i could bend the sides down which is great but couldnt get screws in there either due to gate design. Only option was glue and have tried so many different glues now without 100% success.

    I purchased this product based on the (highly favourable) reviews, but its been completely ineffective. The possums literally walk along the spikes without any impediment (I have video of them doing just that), so while they may keep out other pests, they are no problem at all for possums to walk along. Picture shows a grab from the video.
