Hey Sam & Sharon,
The Extra Large Rat Trap does not come with an instruction manual as it comes ready to use out of the box. The bait can be placed in the back chamber, where rodents won't be able to grab it and run, and will force them to inspect the trap, enter and trigger the pressure plate.
