    Yates Tomato & Vegetable Dust is a ready-to-use and dual-action insecticide and fungicide dust that can be used to control some of the hard-to-control pests and diseases on tomatoes and vegetables. Its dual-action properties kill and control a wide variety of garden pests including caterpillars, cabbage white butterflies, aphids, powdery mildew & target spot.

    Yates Tomato & Vegetable Dust can be used on tomatoes, broccoli, zucchinis and other vegetables.

    How to Use Yates Tomato & Vegetable Dust:

    • Shake the pack and lightly dust leaves and stems of dry plants.

    • Apply every 7–10 days, or after rain.

    • Avoid use on cucumbers and when bees are active.

    • Wait 3 days after application before harvesting produce.

    • Always follow label instructions.

    Hey Trisha,
    Yates Tomato & Vegetable Dust uses Spinetoram as it's active pesticide ingredient, which is designed to target pests and diseases, particularly fungi and certain insects. Spinetoram is an effective insecticide that targets a wide range of pests, but it may not be as effective against ants. While Spinetoram might kill some types of ants, it’s not specifically formulated for ant control.
