    Richgro Lawn Feed & Weed 2L Hose-On is a selective weed killer and fertiliser designed to keep your lawn lush and weed-free. It works especially well on Buffalo lawns but is also suitable for couch, bent, kikuyu, paspalum, fescue, and ryegrass. This dual-action product controls broadleaf weeds like bindii, clover, dandelion, and plantain while feeding your lawn with essential nutrients like nitrogen and iron.

    How to Use

    HOSE ON LIQUID:

    Situation: Established Buffalo (except ST varieties), Couch (including Queensland blue couch), Kikuyu, Bent, Fescue, Paspalum and Ryegrass lawns

    Weeds controlled: Bindii, capeweed, clovers, cudweed, dandelion, lamb’s tongue (plantain), thistles, wireweed

    How to apply

    • Apply the contents of this 2 L bottle over 100 square metres.
    • Measure the lawn area before application. Apply when weeds are growing actively.
    • Weeds will die slowly; effects may take up to 3 weeks to appear.
    • Repeat applications may be necessary to control advanced weeds or certain types of clover.
    • To avoid damaging wanted garden plants and plants growing in lawns due to spray drift, 400mL of this bottle may also be diluted into 9 litres of water and applied over 20 square metres using a watering can.

    Precautions

    • DO NOT use on Lippia, Dichondra, Durban grass or Strawberry Clover lawns and new lawns less than 3 months old. Before application onto new varieties of Buffalo grass, test on a small area first.
    • DO NOT allow this selective weed killer spray to contact or drift onto plants you do not want to be killed.
    • DO NOT allow entry (including pets) into treated areas until spray has dried.
    • DO NOT feed treated grass clippings to poultry, livestock, or use to mulch plants.
    • DO NOT allow chemical containers or spray to get into drains, sewers, streams or ponds.

    FAQ

    How quickly will I see results?

    You may begin to notice weed curling and yellowing within a few days of application of this selective weed killer. Lawn greening and improved growth typically follow soon after as the fertiliser takes effect. Full weed control can take up to 3–4 weeks depending on weed type and weather.

    Do I need to water the lawn after using this selective weed killer?

    No, watering is not necessary immediately after use as the product is applied with water via the hose-on system. Let the treated area dry completely before allowing pets or children onto the lawn. Avoid mowing for at least 2 days before and after application for best results.
