    How to Use

    1. Mix: For most pests (caterpillars, grasshoppers, millipedes), dilute 20ml of concentrate in 2 litres of water. For turf pests, use 50ml in 2 litres of water.

    2. Apply: Spray all affected areas thoroughly, ensuring complete coverage of foliage with minimal runoff. Apply when pests are first noticed and repeat as required.

    3. Always read the product label and instructions thoroughly to ensure safe and effective application.

    • Do not mix with Lime Sulfur or Bordeaux Mixture.

    • Only use outdoors. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours.

    • Always wear personal protective equipment during mixing and application -avoid contact with skin and eyes; wash thoroughly after handling.

    • Avoid bare skin contact with treated surfaces for 7 days – do not allow pets or children into treated areas.

    Can I use this product in all Australian states?

    Some restrictions apply; for example, Richgro Caterpillar, Grasshopper & Millipede Killer is not registered for use on certain pests in Tasmania and New South Wales. Always check local regulations and product labels before use

    What can I do after mistakenly spraying vegetable seedlings and bed with Richgro caterpillar, grasshopper & millipede killer? Will vegetables when ready for harvest (est. 10-15 weeks) be safe to eat? Grant Watson asked on 12 April 2025

    Hey Grant,
    Richgro Caterpillar, Grasshopper & Millipede Killer contains carbaryl, which is not safe for use on food-producing plants. Vegetables grown in treated soil may still contain harmful residues even after 10–15 weeks, so it is safest to remove the seedlings and not consume any vegetables from this bed.

    To address the issue:

    Discard contaminated plants (do not compost them).

    Replace or decontaminate the soil and wait for carbaryl to degrade naturally (this can take weeks to months depending on conditions).

    Replant vegetables only after ensuring the soil is safe.
