    Having a multiple cat family I would like reassurance that this product is completely non toxic to cats. Alison Benson asked on 11 November 2024

    Hey Alison,
    Patrol Fix Ant Advance Ant Sand uses Fipronil as it's main active ingredient and would be toxic to pets. This product is only for use outdoors, not indoors, and the product label would need to be followed for safe application of this product. I have copied the Caution section from the back of the bottle for your perusal.

    CAUTION: Before treatment, remove animals and pets from the areas to be treated. Cover or remove any open food and water containers. Keep away from domestic pets, especially dogs. If pets eat the granules, contact your veterinary surgeon immediately. Use with caution around pets - ensure product is well dispersed i.e swept in between pavers, cracks and crevices and dispersed into soil. Cover or remove fishponds, aquariums etc before application. DO NOT apply within 2 metres of a fishpon or water containing fish or aquatic species
