How to Use It Debco Citrus and Fruit Premium Pot Mix 

Using Debco Citrus and Fruit Potting Mix is a breeze:

For Planting in Pots:

1. Make sure your citrus trees get plenty of sunlight.
2. Fill a clean, roomy pot with the mix, leaving space for the new plant.
3. Ensure the pot has good drainage.
4. Remove any rotten or extremely dried-out roots when transferring the plant from its container.
5. Position the plant and fill the pot with mix, leaving it about 4cm below the rim.
6. Give it a good soak and shield the plant from the wind.

For In-Ground Use:

1. Dig a hole that’s 2-3 times the size of the pot and blend the mix 50/50 with your garden soil when planting potted or bagged fruit trees.

Ongoing Care Tips

• This potting mix already contains a high-quality balanced fertilizer for 6 months. However, your citrus trees might require additional fertilizer. They prefer feeding once per season with a suitable controlled-release fertilizer.
• Citrus trees love deep watering. Water them more frequently during hot or windy weather, especially when they’re in flower or producing small fruit.
• You may need to repot your plants with fresh potting mix when they outgrow the pot or after 12-18 months.
